Accommodation

In early 2004, a brand new equestrian facility, Stal Kersten was built on the outskirts of the beautifull, country town of Egchel. This state-of-the-art facility contains a 24 stall show horse barn and six groom/wash stalls which includes a heated solarium. The tack is kept in the spacious and heated tackroom with an anjoining room for blankets. Because of the raining Dutch weather, the facility contains a covered six horse walker as well as an indoor lunging arena. There is a 22 x 65m indoor arena and a 40 x 80m fenced outdoor arena.

Guest accomodations are located on the upper level, at the far end of the large 22 x 65m indoor arena. The client lounge where horse videos can be comfortable viewed while drinking a hot cup of Dutch coffee is located on the lower level by the indoor arena. The grooms quarters include three private bedrooms, a kitchen, lunchroom and bathroom.

There are three big padoocks where the horses can relax for a few hours. The horses can also be trained on the newly-built, large exersize track that circles around the fields where the brood mares spend their days grazing.
